HOWTO Encourage Women in Linux

Intertesting How To written by a woman, Val Henson.
I have read the document carefully and I try to follow the instructions; however, I could convince no woman or girl of my friends to totally switch to GNU/Linux.
You may tell me that even men often feel discouraged, but I keeptrying :-P
Did anyone do an exploit?
