According to Log statistics, 12.2% of my visitors that come using a search engine use MSN. Naturally, it’s hard to find what they want: A GNU/Linux user generally uses Google and rarely works on Windows 98!
It seems that there’s a bug that not only made MSN mix the sites and add warez content to mine, but also made my blog highly ranked among warez topics! Those who come from MSN look for porn, illegal music, software crack, etc.
Another fact, the ones whose the query contains software crack are mainly from Europe, illegal MP3 seekers are mainly from north America; nothing interesting till now … but 86% of users who search pornography, pedophilia movies, gay pictures and virtual girls are from … Saudi Arabia and Iran!!! Long live the Internet!
Of course, I won’t block the IP’s that come from those countries, that’s stupid and segregative, but may be I will have to deny access to the Microsoft engine: it takes a lot of bandwidth and its users often disappoint me; besides, it belongs to a company that I like a lot.
