Kebbab Connection
Ibo is a Turkish living in Hamburg who wants to make the first German kung-fu movie, meanwhile, he makes ads for his uncle’s restaurant; however, his (german) girlfriend got pregnant which will change his plans, and his relationship with his conservative family.
“Kebbab Connection” is a nice and funny comedy that I watched yesterday, and was presented by its director himself Anno Saul. Certainly not the “professional” humor, but entertaining; Ibo tries to prove to his girlfriend along the movie that he is able to be a good father. The movie shows relationships between ethnicities, and rivality between Turkish and Greeks in a funny way. The only scenes that may be regretted is the extremely bloody ones made by the young director in ads; otherwise, the 99 minutes were interesting.
