Free Software Feast

Yesterday took place in Ghazela a great exhibition called “Free Software Feast”. The name sounds like the famous German Oktoberfest, however, no beer here, as says Stallman: “Free Software refers not to price, but to Freedom, so think of Free speech, not free beer!”
The organization was successful and many clubs and association participated, many people too who want to present their projects; I was dealing with Fedora installation and assistance; too many issued successfully fixed, and I had to deal with some users mistakes that sometimes screw everything up.
It was an opportunity to meet Liberty Soft members: Tahar, Nadia, Kamel, Sonia, … whom I knew only “virtually”, but also old friends from different universities (ISI, ENSI, ISET, …) and many hackers developing on Free Software.
Later, joined me ^Oth, and then, Kassus who was presented his Wiki project. We really regret that we could not meet Tom and Nesnes who was nevertheless there! I also took part in a jury for a LPI-like little exam organized by Liberty Soft.
I would like to thank the organizers who knew how to deal with the feast and worked hard for it, all people whom I met and with home I shared my knowledge, and everybody there, except the restaurant who had no consideration for us and threw to us craps that can not be eaten.
Last fun was taking a ride on Kassus’ Yamaha, to finish an unforgettable day.
