Swobodin v Brně

While reviewing yesterday’s stats, I found out that I got a little more than 500 visits, never reached it! I know, some might say: “Yeah, too bad, that’s the lowest number I can expect”, but for me, it’s the highest number of visits.
I would not write about it if it were not very different; in fact, the maximum visitors I used to get was for about 260, and the average is 170~220; however, such a number made me confused. As I worry about security, I analyzed the 3000 lines of the raw log file, looking for spiders, viruses, worms or whatever (since I have already set a policy that filters unwanted robots and malicious scripts) and excluded Google, Yahoo and the “inoffensive” bots, and again, I found out that the 500 visitors were “humans”!
Later, I guessed about the reason: Google had just updated my blog and increased my rank, which results a huge number of visits looking for different topics. There were even people from countries I have almost no informations about: Mongolia, Kenya, Trinidad and Tobago, Laos, Faroese Island, …
