Looking for a job

Everything is getting hopeless and it seems that there’s no ready solution to flip over and change the situation.
When I have chosen freelance some time ago, I thought that it would give me more independence and more money. This is true, except that it’s not the right place for it.
Sometimes, I wonder whether the “human side” is useful with hypocrites who use inhuman tricks to avoid paying; as I deal with that kind of people, I learned how to make a 2-day task in some weeks, because if I finish it quickly, they will say: “That was an easy work, add something and do another thing so that you get your money”.
Moreover, few customers pay once they get their job done, the others make me wait for a long, with the alibi that they are out of money, as I were producing my own green bills. No coin has entered my account last month whereas I was expecting some thousands of dinars: they want me to make discounts and to wait for months, and it’s very probable that they don’t even pay.
I often think of destroying the work that I did for them, but this will be the last solution. Friends say that I’m too weak to request my money, well, I just try to consider customers as humans who understand.
I’m looking either for a “stable” job (Web development or UNIX) where I can be compensated for my efforts, or “serious” customers, preferably not Tunisians, so that I won’t have to meet them in real, to accept what they call “friendship” and being “as a member of the family”, to listen for hours their financial problems and economical crisis and to wait my cash for an undefined time.
If you can offer me a decent job or an interesting serious deal, then I will be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.

Wish you all the best man ;-)

PS: try to look for a place at some well known IT companies ( witnessing some good succes at the moment), go on a door knock mission and get proud of your efforts to survive.

    Hello,

my company is dealing with a company called “COLT” it is based in the netherlands but their ‘experts’ are mainly in UK. This is a host company that is not able to manage correctly our Oracle database (under Linux) nor a correct php install !
If you have a fast line maybe you can try with them ! (try colt.net)

It’s a big problem in tunisia : the lack of confidance and “The 9alba”

  7. Anis Says:

check their website for an email address or a phone number.

Then make a good CV and send it to them explaining your competences and that you will and are able to do remote consultancy in your accompagning letter.

Then install putty, VNC and skype (send them your skype id so they can have a chat with you).

I think this is interesting for them (you can arrange a good salary for you and for them :-) because less expensive than UK

Check out other companies if this doesn’t work there are a lot that can offer you an opportunity !!

    Anis
ps: there are also a lot of Irish companies that do like this, (checkout monster.com web site

    And bonne merde !

Unfortunately yes, besides, the economical crisis (Thanks Mr. Bush) highlighted this tendancy.
