Internet slang

Having fun looking at some Internet acronyms and slangs. I figured that there are expressions I use everyday in chatting, and I can make them within some letters, my favorite are:

  • RTFM: read the fucking manual (Sorry Theos, I will have to use it ;-) )
  • IIRC: if I remember/recall correctly
  • FYI: For Your Information
  • n00b: newbie in leetspeak
  • HTH: Hope this helps
  • IRL: in real life (Yeah, I’m too “virtual”)
  • HAND: Have a nice day
  • BSOD: Blue Screen of Death
  • NVM: Nevermind.

Well, HTH, G2G by now; HAND, C U!

Good to know them. I have a lot of problems in chating with indians especially, because they use a lot of such things. Most of the time I don’t understand :-( It seems I need a chat dictionary :-)
