Finally in Brno

The trip was not as easy as I expected. There was no problem with Tunisair, what I liked the most was the Alps view above the Italian-Grman border, followed by Bavaria well structured lands. I reached München and had to wait for the flight to Brno, so theorically there should be no problem. M¨nchen airport was a city itself, all the staff fluently speak English, there was nice accommodation and even free newspapers, coffee and tea. Anyway, the so called Cirrus Airlines cancelled the flight because of the bad weather. I contacted Lufthansa asking for an urgent solution, they managed to get a flight to Prague in the same evening, and gave me a restaurant check of 15 euros. I don’t know what I liked the most at the restaurant: the beautiful girls working there, or the efficient service, or the quality of the meal. With the 15 euros I could get a fried salmon and French frites, Thai pasta and a cup of beer, just like Bavarians, sorry Oth, I could not take more as I could not even finish that one, you know I am not a great drinker, but I thought of you!
The funny plane arrived by 7 PM, funny because it’s an old Italian made plane, it seems even that Mussolini took it before, and I arrived to Prague by night, absolutely lost, not knowing not to do and not wanting to disturb my friends there.
There was a big difference between the two airport, either by the size and the helpful employees, the Czechs airport people seem to be perfect solzhenicyn characters: No English spoken, and very fuzzy and nervous.
I could book a Hotel at the airport, Mladili or something, by … public transport. Unlike what it’s said about them, Czech people were friendly with me, they had time to tell me what trame to take, how long does take, where I shall stop, … Well, people I asked were looking trustful: girls, guys with laptop and glasses, cops, … Of course I avoided those who smell (and look) alcohols, old people (always afraid), …
I finally got to the Hotel, and could sleep quickly, due to tiredness.
Today morning, I had the oportunity to walk around Prague, assisted by a Portuguese tourist I knew at the hotel, my Portuguese made easier the communication, and she showed me very interesting places. It’s crazy the number of all those casinos, erotic stores, strip tease clubs, … There was even a sex shop face to a kid store, my comment was “Toys for children and toys for adults” .
After that, Chunski joined me and lead me to the bus station. Destination: Brno.
Prague was very cold, but Brno is even colder! There was fog along the path that made the view nice, but not the accommodation. I looked for a tourism office or something like that to get a hotel, but it was closed at 17:05! Absolutely no information about hotels, so I have chosen the first one, unfortunately 4 star, so costs too much. I had no choice face to the -2 C, and I paid the amount expecting that my employer would reimburse it. Besides, dinner is not included, just breakfast. Tomorrow I am going to look for a cheap accommodation.
Here I am, in the middle of Brno, looking for a restaurant, taking a dictionary and a map, and blogging my crazy adventure in an Internet bar.
To be continued …
