Things I did not want to see in Brno
- Vlakové nádraži, main train station, a homeless sleeping. It was cold, and he was covered only with a coat.
- Jugoslavská street, 2 days before christmas, I was taking a ride and the street was empty, except of one person, a young woman, she had a nice face, but she was hardly walking, almost falling, not caring and not seeing around her. Abused, drank, stoned, … It was too shocking and I could do nothing.
- Still cold weather, some Roma kids went into the tram number 5, poorly dressed, people were avoiding them.
- Moravské náměsté, New Year’s Eve, an old woman was shouting, I could hear some curses, she had an ugly voice, was taking a bottle of vodka and screaming, not caring about anybody.
- Cejl Street, a truck running, stopped, and a Gypsy got down. Long hair, ugly face with scratches, full of rings and jewels, was running to some place, probably for troubles.
- Cathedral Saint Peter and Paul, I was taking some pictures, a girl was selling postal cards. She spoke English (which is not common here), had many papers of studies, some bread, cheese and tomato, and trembling of cold (No heating system inside the Chapel). A typical dirty job.
- Newspaper Metro, first page, a Neo-Nazi manifestation in Vlakové nádraži last saturday. I have been there few hours before the riot.
