Activism in Czech Republic — Petition Against Missile Base
The actual issue these days in the Czech Republic is about a Petition Against Missile Base.
The United States wishes to construct a military base in the Czech Republic, which is supposed to protect the US against attack by ballistic missiles. However, this base would not protect the Czech Republic. On the contrary, it would subject us to the risk of a nuclear attack in the event of a conflict.
Many protestations, concerts, meetings, … are organized all over the country. I am curious to see what it looks like, in spite of the discouragements of AdaMM.
I hope that Czech people succeed to prevent Uncle Sam from playing with their lands, although they do not have enough power to stop that, in my opinion.

I can not speak in the name of Czech ppl. I’m not a CZ citizen so, the establishing the radar in CZ is not my decision. From another hand it is even bether not to establish AntiMissile Shield here in Czech Rerpublic couse more instalations of Uncle Sam will be build in PL
Why am I like AntiMissile Shield? Couse is simple; when someone attact that bases (AMS) it will be counted as an attac for USA. In the time of gas-terror of Putin it is a good idea to have USA as an ally.
Basicly I don’t belive that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong Il or another clever-in-another-way guy would like to attac PL, CZ or USA .. not yet; but … si vis pacem, para bellum. I belive that a fair war is only defense war. Fortunately AMS is a DEFENSE!!!! instalation!
